Logistics entails the transport of services and goods. It’s about managing inventory, meeting orders, and promoting the relationship between manufacturer and customer. The storing, handling, and movement of goods requires a variety of candidates, including managers, sales advisors, drivers, supervisors, clerks, and more. Logistics has been growing steadily as an industry for years and is expected to continue expanding through to 2020.

Salaries vary by occupation. Warehouse positions may require no formal qualifications. Management, supervisory, or operators may need NVQs, apprenticeships, certifications, specialised training, or degrees. A general perquisite will be candidates have at least a basic talent in literacy and maths.
